Lunch and Learn: An Introduction to Research Ethics Board Join our Research Ethics Board (REB) Coordinator, Holly Harris, for a Lunch and Learn session. During this session, Holly will facilitate a discussion about the history of research ethics and principles that guide Canadian REBs. Holly will outline and explain the processes that the REB undertakes to ensure research overseen by the Board satisfies the core principles outlined in the Tri-Council Policy Statement- Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (2018): Respect for Persons, Concern for Welfare, and Justice. The Tri-Council Policy Statement is the joint policy of Canada federal research agencies and represents best practices in promoting the ethical conduct of research involving humans. We look forward to seeing you there!
